I'm trying something different; using speech recognition and translation. I saw this video a few months ago and was wondering what the girl was going on about before she got cut down. Maybe it would explain why she was killed. Anyway, the Google speech recognition didn't seem to work real well, it says:

Essa Bruna não tá bom não faz isso não. Essa Bruna não tá bom, tá bom, tá bom, não faz isso não

which translates to

This Bruna is not good does not do that. This Bruna isn't okay, okay, okay, don't do that

so it doesn't explain anything... but it adds a little, anyhow.

I can help with that: *Girl: “eu não roubei essa grana, eu não roubei (several times)” - I didn’t steal that money, I didn’t

*Guy: “fala aí” - talk

*Girl:”eu pago essa grana, eu vou fazer os corre velho, eu vou fazer os corre” - I’ll pay you that money, I gonna get the money by trading -I assume- drugs (“fazer os corre” = idiomatic expression)

-several gunshots

*Guy: “tá bom, tá bom” - it’s enough, it’s enough

*Guy 2 hits with the weapon in the face

*Guy: “tá bom não faz isso não” - it’s enough don’t do that

*Guy 2: “vou me melar todo de sangue nessa porra” - I’m fucking staining myself in blood”

Something like that, hope that helps clarify it, It really was sad and brutal :(

Thanks! Given how many of the videos are from the great death trap called Brazil, you have much to offer.

I just don't understand why criminal on criminal business disputes result in back woods death penalties all the time. That's part of what keeps me coming back, fascination with what I can't understand. It's like they're duty bound to murder people.

It’s indeed a death trap, but only if you trade drugs I suppose. I realize I’m the exception but I even never got robbed, neither no one in my family, so indeed it’s dangerous here (Rio), but as long as you take care and be aware, it’s actually ok. And I will start contributing with translations for the most interesting things I guess.
