Arrested thug who impersonated a client and killed a lawyer

Images from a circuit camera helped the Military Police to arrest, in a few hours, two men involved in the death of lawyer Milton Queiroz Lopes, 51, which occurred this Tuesday morning (17), in Juara (709 km to the Mid-North) Cuiabá). The suspect was arrested moments after shooting the lawyer inside his office.

According to information from the Military Police, after being notified of the murder, military and civilian police made sieges in the Vale do Arinos region and in Sinop.

The Civil Police of Juara reported that the two men arrested as involved in the crime were found in a hotel in Sinop, around 8:40 am. During the approach, the weapon used in the crime was found. In addition to the gun, a Pajero vehicle was also seized.

Also according to the police report, the suspect of shooting had passed by a client of the lawyer and entered the office.

According to information provided by the president of the Brazilian Bar Association, Juara Subsection, Ghyslen Lehnen, the police had access to images of the office's internal security circuit and were able to better understand the dynamics of the crime. The suspect appears at the table in front of the suspect.

He appears to receive assistance when, suddenly, he draws a gun and shoots at Milton. He tries to escape, but he can't resist and ends up dying at the office door.

“We have been following every investigation since the first moments of the crime, the police are on the lookout for information about the suspect. We already have images, now we need to identify and arrest him ”, said the lawyer.

Milton's body was taken to the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Juína, where he will undergo necropsy, then he will be sent to the state of Minas Gerais, where he will be buried.

The Juara Civil Police awaits the suspects in the municipality, where they will be questioned. The Civil Police still investigates the motivation of the crime.

The police case reported that the lawyer had two shots to the face, one at the level of the mouth. Mobile Emergency Service (Samu) was called and confirmed the death.

Witnesses said they heard 3 gunshots and then caught a man leaving the scene on foot.

Milton's body was taken to the Legal Medical Institute (IML). He was from Minas Gerais. There is no burial information.
