Organizations defending women's rights denounced the murder of another citizen in events that occurred in the district of El Plateado, rural area of ​​the municipality of Algeria, south of the department of Cauca.

The victim was identified as Norida Yasmin Mutis Adrada, who was attacked with a white weapon amid circumstances that are subject to investigation by the authorities.

The Association of Women of Algeria, Amar, rejected the crime and called on the Government to implement effective strategies and programs for prevention, awareness, attention and justice.

According to witnesses, the victim, a native of the municipality of Balboa, was in a canteen to where a man who allegedly made a claim for a sexual service arrived, and subsequently stabbed her.
