Can we not use streamable to post stuff?

A lot of the videos just end up getting taken down. Saidit WPD isn't nearly as active as Reddit's WPD was, so I don't check it as often. So now I just have a bunch of "Video removed" links.

Can you post a list of all banned sites for reference?

Right now, these get removed for deleting NSFL content:

catbox.moe, streamable.com

and there's another list of sites that get removed because of excessive porn ads:

theync.com, www.xrares.com, crazyshit.com, livegore.com, nowleaks.com, kaotic.com

(putting these in backticks so that it won't create links out of them)

This should probably be public so that people know which sites not to post before actually posting.. Also a post on how to pull videos from sites like these and upload somewhere else if necessary would be nice. Maybe I'll write something up about that at some point.

what you should be using is sites like https://forum.deathaddict.co/ and liveleak.com and stuff, not common sites like streamable or youtube or shit like that

bitchute or spee.ch is where I upload stuff.

I just tried both, both pale compared streamable. bitchute requires you do a lot, like give the video a title and a thumbnail and load it from your own drive rather than from a URL. spee.ch has some blockchain bullshit that's super slow. Losing streamable as an option, I'm afraid, is going to prevent me from contributing, because I also can't, and wouldn't want to, link directly to thenyc, kaotic, etc.

True, but for bitchute you can automate most of it. I use youtube-dl to download videos from sites, and ffmpeg (ffmpeg -i source-video.mp4 -vf "select=eq(n\,0)" -q:v 3 thumbnail.jpg) to get the thumbnail for the video (that command just extracts the first frame).

I could probably script that so that I can just give it an URL and it downloads the video and gives me a thumbnail with one command, but I don't upload that frequently that it's necessary
