That kinda sounds like a sinus infection. That doesn't even sound like the symptoms of 'long covid', which I suspect is just ME/CFS. Probably just the effects of weakened immune systems making them more prone to infections. We know they are running out of antibiotics for kids getting strep and ear infections

Having loads of mucus can also be a symptom of thyroid problems. We can't see her properly but I'm going to have a wild guess she isn't thin and fit.

These people should all be tested for fungal infections. The kind that only are a problem for people with AIDS and otherwise compromised immune systems.

I've had the same symptoms since October 31, 2000. Mine is from a vaccine injury, and I suspect theirs is too.

Middle class women having unexplained illnesses which leave them bedridden and can't be treated isn't a new trend at all.
