Cars are getting ridiculous. It's not just a pain for parking, it's trickier navigating narrow roads too. (and we have a lot)

The bit about the Land Rover running into those kids seems a bit irrelevant, unless I'm missing something. Would a smaller or lighter car have been much less dangerous in this situation?
