The people who wrote Titanic said that Jack wasn't a real person.
Then why did the real Rose admit that even years after being married to some white guy, having cheated on her first rich white husband, for a man who she STILL LOVED after 80 years, do an interview saying this person was real?
Rose was in love with nobody then?

There were 6 Chinese men on the Titanic.
The story of Jack was DIRECTLY INSPIRED by a Chinese guy who clung to the door.
"In Fong’s family, no one really knew that he had survived the Titanic. His son, Tom Fong, heard the story from a family friend. Even then, he only knew that his father was involved in a shipwreck and was saved by a door plank, but he never made the connection between his father and the Titanic tragedy. Years later, Tom Fong’s cousin later briefly mentioned that Wing Sun Fong was on the Titanic, which led Tom Fong to investigate the incident. During his research, he found out his father had changed his name. "

In the same movie, they got an ABC crewmember to cling to the door, but then they replaced it with Jack and Rose.
So, Rose was literally in love with nobody?
Can you imagine Rose being still in love with some white guy who died 80 years ago? Of course not. Can you imagine her still being in love with an Asian man? Then it starts to make a lot more sense.
But who wouldn't want that story to surface? The same people who cut the scene of an Asian man on the door in the film.
