    Fascism is a form of populism that appeals strongly to nationalism and lets that sentiment give ultimate power to the state, because the state "is" the nation and the nation is the top priority. Yeah, I don't see how that mixes with trans complaints about Legos either.

      Same same. In the 1930s, nation and race often meant the same thing in the homogenous countries of Europe.
