The problem I have with my siblings is people think it is romantic. This usually isn't true (I did get a chosen sister taken from me (her best friend was jealous) and I did have romantic implications with her, but I don't even know if I did, that is a whole story within itself). I want to explain it to someone who I've been friends with for a few years, but I also don't want to freak out her parents because she's 14 and I'm 19, even though I will never do something to her. I see her as a sister, not as a lifetime partner.
