It's pretty common for AGPs to come out when their partner is pregnant. It's usually the first time in their life that they haven't been the center of the universe. They get bitterly jealous of their partner and child needing attention and so try to make the situation all about them.

I'll be less generous. They want a, let's call it a host, that they can drive sustinance off of in a parasitical existence while they transition.

Coming out as a woman after the poor wife is pregnant is a tactical move done so that the wife is even less likely of leaving them and feels trapped. However the correct move as the wife is to always immediately and irrevocably end the relationship then and there because the parasite once it consumes all it can from the host will move onto another one. In this case once the former man finishes transitioning while subsisting entirely off of their spouse they will leave anyway.

Sounds like he's pretty happy to be ditching her. He needs to 'explore' himself.

I’d rather leave, the town I live is very conservative necessity would be to move to a bigger city to explore myself
