Making a deal with a literal devil is the stuff of fiction. 'Selling your soul to the devil,' I believe, is as easy as sacrificing your principles for some benefit.

I actually do read articles before commenting on them, but there's no biblical basis for the Malleus Maleficarum. It wasn't even written until the 15th century.

I actually agree with that point. But that doesn't change my initial point that Lifehacker is teaching people to sell their souls away from some temporary pleasure.
