What the super movement is:
The S+ movement is just a new sexuality that emphasizes not what someone ISN'T attracted to, but what they ARE attracted to. Supersexuals are attracted to the biological sex of an individual (hence, superstraights are attracted to exclusively the opposite sex, superlesbians and supergays are attracted to exclusively the same sex and superbis are attracted to both their same sex and the opposite sex). This by nature excludes trans people, the same way solely same-sex attracted lesbians, naturally exclude men. Lesbians and gay men aren't heterophobic and supersexual isn't transphobic. I would consider the opposite of Supersexual to be Skoliosexual, which is an attraction to anyone who isn't cisgendered. If this sexuality is completely valid, so is a sexuality in which a person is incapable of feeling attraction to a trans person.
The super movement began as a semi-satirical response to the more extreme view that if you are unwilling to date a trans person, than you are transphobic. However, it grew to a more serious movement, when folks witnessed the harassment, threats, and abuse that many sex-attracted individuals face, especially superlesbians. Therefore, a large portion of the this movement exists to fight back against this shaming of folks for their innate, immutable sexual attraction and the right for them to love who they love, free of shame and free of being demonized as a horrible, transphobic person solely for who they are attracted to.
examples of this harassment:

What the superstraight movement is NOT:
- Not a sexuality that is inherently transphobic. Most transgender folks will agree that genital preferences are valid and not transphobic, but that refusing to date a person solely because they are transgender is transphobic. however, many individuals obviously take issue with the term "genital preferences" as it implies the only determining factor in who a person is attracted to is their genitals. Thus, it makes sense for a new sexuality to emerge that encompasses individuals who simply only feel attraction to opposite or same sex (or both) folks.. Additionally, there are many reasons as to why an individual may not want to engage in a romantic relationship with a trans person, including, but not limited to:
--not being attracted to surgically constructed genitalia. I understand that their are many misunderstanding surrounding neo-vaginas/penises and that it can be incredibly frustrating for trans folks to feel their genitalia are being unfairly scrutinized, but that being said, its still okay for a person to not be attracted to surgically-constructed genitalia. For many, it just doesn't taste or feel the same as natal genitals and that's valid. However, folks who are attracted to neo-vaginas are penises are also completely valid. Folks can be educated on the subject and still decide its not for them; not aversion to neo genitals is borne of hate or ignorance.
--wanting biological children the "old-fashioned way". This one should pretty self-explanatory. Yes, I know trans folks can have children themselves or adopt, but these processes can be very expensive and emotionally tasking and its up to individuals to decide how they want to have children.
---deciding its too difficult for them to emotionally support a person struggling with dysphoria. This is also valid, as gender incongruence can naturally cause a lot of stress for both the individual suffering from it and a potential partner. I think this reason should logically work for all people involved, because as trans person, you'd want someone who can be supportive and understanding.
---wanting to date someone with the specific experiences often shared by an individual of a certain sex. Of course not all people of the same sex share the same life experiences, but their will undoubtedly being commonalities, just like any group of people, that can be important when it comes to dating.
----not feeling an attraction to trans folks, regardless of their level of passing, due to the knowledge that individual is still biologically the sex they were born as. Many trans people view this as very transphobic and worth shaming, but people loose attraction to folks due to all sorts of reasons having to do with their past history and this reason is honestly just as valid as any.
---All of the above or more. As long as the reason isn't born of hate or invalidates trans people as a whole, people are able to date or not date whomever they wish, without being shamed or harassed.
2) Not borne of 4chan Nazi origins: The super movement began on ticktock on 2/21/21. The 4chan post that latched onto the movement for its own purposes was created on 3/5/21. You can look up the posts yourselves, as they are timestamped. on of many sources: https://www.insider.com/super-straight-flag-meaning-tiktok-superstraight-ss-movement-origin-2021-3--"Super straight' originated on TikTok and spread to forums like 4chan".
3) Not defined by its most toxic users. The superstraight movement has of course attracted toxic folks who just want to shit all over trans men, women, and non-binary people, but this is not what supersexualities represent and most users are just looking to not be shamed for their sexual preferences, as well as defend others who are. If we judged each group by its worst members, all groups on Reddit would be banned.
4) Not a "terf" movement. To be a terf, one has to be a radical feminist and there are supersexuals of all backgrounds, genders, and sexualities. One is allowed to be as exclusionary as they wish when it comes to their dating preferences.
I'll add more to this as counter-arguments arise and of course, again, these are just my perspectives on the super movement and what I've observed and not necessarily indicative of all individual perspectives.
Solidarity to all supers and super-allies!
