Unified theory of control: 1. he who has money either is contented or wants wealth, he who has wealth wants power, he who has power want the arbitrary and persistent application of it, that is control. (there is indeed another stage, veneration, irrelevant in this context) 2. corollary: every time you surrender control of something to anyone, it will eventually come back to bite you in the ass.
