After reading the article I still have the impression that they spent the time learning the software, couldn't bother to learn something else so they couldn't upgrade and now they're seeking validation for their choices.

Let me tell you all about the Linux Command Interface (CLI) and why switching to a graphic interface was a big mistake! Compare it to Windows 1.0 or even some old Xerox GUI - the command line interface is MUCH better than those. And after decades you'll definitively be more proficient at using the CLI than Windows 1.0 WHICH PROVES ME RIGHT!
