Cosmologist Rajendra Gupta has implemented his CCC+TL model, based on "tired constants" and "tired light," by testing it with baryon acoustic oscillations, imprints of ancient sound waves in microwave relic radiation. Baryonic acoustic oscillations reportedly underpin 26.7 billion-year-old universe . If this fringe model comes to fruition, it could replace the still unknown dark matter and dark energy. See also:

The interpretation of study nevertheless was, it excludes tired light model. The physicists probably forgot they measure speed of time by speed of light by now.
