The Islamic Sultanate of Qarsherskiy, more commonly known as Qarsherskiy (Qarshkī: قارشيرصكئ) (Arabic: قارشيرصكئ) or (Russian: Карширский) is a micronation located on the Virginia Peninsula in the United States of America. Qarsherskiy has a population of 1,947 people, with 57 citizens living in the capital city of Qarsherabad. The Islamic Sultanate was first envisioned in the year 1991, and in 2019, it was formally established by Powerplant 'Aisha when she declared Qarsherskiy as a legitimate state. On 28 March 2023, Qarsherskiy elected its first Sultan and declared independence from the United States. Qarsherskiy is famous for being one of the more legit and serious micronations, with a small military and a grip on the Wax Myrtle leaf and berry trade.
