This got inappropriately removed my u/MarcuRex73 Did not break any Ottawa or Reddit rules.

Parents have authentic and valid complaints or else they wouldn't be complaining.. I'm sure most drag is appropriate however there's some that's not and even dragsters speak out against this as children have been brought to these 18+ shows.. That's normal.. Adults have bought children into bars all the same. Doesn't mean all of drag is sexual.. Imo there are some activities that are meant for after school. I think drag could be one.. Same with any political issue.. You don't see right wing parents pushing for firearm safety training in schools.. Same with ski club.. It's after school.. I see no problem with one of my kids going to a kid friendly drag show if it's proportionate towards education plain and simple.. Edit1: Response @ u/maulrus Calling ski club and firearms safety is not a silly comparison as they are things that exist.. You Demanding I make a comparaarsion to an entertainer who I don't even know is disisgnous as well trying to steel the mic. Ill make comparisons that I can work with and understand. Can't make comparisons with things i don't know or understand.. That simple. So I can't even respond to the rest because again I have no clue what your referring to.. However Firearms and ski like drag are not fundamental however offer some education and that's why they are not "silly" but rather great comparisons. Parents have valid concerns weather you can understand you that or not.. It's not for you to dictate what is or isn't concerning to a parent.. The parent inn the post said "child abuse" Is that not a valid concern? if its child abuse or not is a different discussion. What we are talking about is if child abuse is a fair concern and you'd be wise to say it is. Edit2: Response u/MarcusRex73 "Parents have authentic and valid complaints or else they wouldn't be complaining..Uh huh. Based on that logic, parents who blocked black students from attending white schools in the US in the 1960s had a "valid complaint".Spoiler, they didn't.Being a parent does not grant you some sort of magic "my complaints are always valid" power. Sometimes, often, parents are the SOURCE of the issue. Racism/intolerance is (typically) learned at home." Boss it's not that deep. When I say this "Parents have authentic and valid complaints or else they wouldn't be complaining.." I'm essentially saying "Where there's smoke there's fire" You can google and infer what that means on your own..
