The human brain in a most standardized configuration sadly is configured to prefer and act on short-feedback-loops.
(Input->"sensory brain magic happening"->"brain-chemicals doing some other magic"->"feeling" of happiness, sadness, e.g.
: now repeat, please)
This fact implies that if you rather are a person that scrolls
chink-chonk (youtwat, snapshit, facefuck, twatter... all replaceable in this here context)
for "entertainment"-purposes e.g. (or whichever "other" reasons or justifications you construct for yourself to not follow me down these giant rabbit holes) will prevent you from going deep "enough" down into mysticism to actually have an experience of success in mysticism.
Because "sense" and "nonsense" that we as human beings somehow (sadly again...) "always" seem to be searching in input we get is only "useful" enough "derivable", "experience"- or "feel"-able in mysticism, once you open up your mind "wide" enough to just accept and memorize some relations between different, maybe even totally contradicting (at a first glance...hehe) beliefs (or if you wanna switch the level up again:) "knowledges".
So there is a quite steep learning curve in mysticism, you have been warned of, right now !
At first, when you start reading into mysticism
(this is an important aspect, because most videos and music nowadays already fill "too much" of your sensory input channels to "prevent" you from judging at the right time:
Because some videos e.g. are so "well-made"-fakes that most humans almost instantly start to believe into them because we "tend" to believe, what we simulate for ourselves to see with our eyes just from the fact that about 80% of our sensory input is visual input for a fact)
you sadly just won't have these moments of success.
Videos mostly "run" too fast for a standard human brain to look "deep enough" into mystical senses.
The real mysticism has its natural habitat in books, pictures and nature itself.
It quite naturally lives in your own imagination or fantasy, so to say.
Which most of us human beings only really can sense or feel once we got enough data on our built-in hard drives to derive "senses" from what actually is happening around us most of the times but sadly (again) waaaay too fast most of the times.
So my grounding advice for you are the following:
Start reading. Mindfully reading. Take your time. Read again, if you feel like you don't understand. Read again. Let your thoughts and imagination take the drivers seat. Mindfully stop controlling the "direction" your thoughts take.
Look at pictures. Try to save them in your memory. Look at them again. And again, if you feel inclined to do so. As much as you desire. Explicitly not on your fucking smartphone. This points in the exactly opposite direction we want to walk here, so to say.
"Free" your thoughts. "Free" your imagination and fantasy. Free your mind from applying frames to the sensory input you get that actually entrap and en-cage you.
But : Once you filled your internal long-term memory with enough knowledge and beliefs of mysticism, you'll start sensing (seeing, thinking, believing, replaceable in this here context) relations you beforehand just couldn't imagine you could.
That essentially is the magic happening here, after some time...
After you spent "enough" time, so to say.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
