Most users here seem to be refugees from ban waves / driven by personal negative experience with reddit. Saidit and other reddit-like alternatives haven't reached the tipping point yet where they have enough users to actually produce/aggregate enough content to draw normal users.

I think it's something worse than Reddit replacing Reddit. A place with more censorship than Reddit. Reddit is owned by China now, the Silicon Valley must have to take down it.
