He worked for AFP, but he never delivered any giant checks in person or on commercials.

    I am old enough that I remember those fat envelopes with the little stamps inside and Ed McMahon with a big ass check and balloons knocking on peoples doors and yeah, he totally was the face of publishers clearing house. The next winner could be you. Maybe we should stop paying attention to this
