My nephew is nine and loves to wear skirts and makeup, probably copying his older sister I suppose. What I like about the situation, the only thing, is that his parents and all of us are neutral, chill, and not giving him advice. He doesn't wear skirts or makeup to school. I'm hoping sometime soon he will catch a flash of a little girl's leg and his life will change but I am admittedly biased.

That is the right approach, don't push them into it and be a troomer, but also don't discourage children exploring gender in a way that does not involve you shoving pills down their throat or bringing out the snippers the second you catch wind of it happening.

His parents are so cool. They both told me, well, if he's gay, we'll be supportive. There is so much trans stuff in the media, it is no wonder if he is a bit confused. Glad you approve. Really.
