“There is absolutely no evidence that shows having a higher score makes for better lawyers,” said UCLA School of Law Dean Jennifer L. Mnookin

None? If I tried that test I'd fail hard and I'd be a miserable lawyer because I know jack shit about the law. A first-year law student would still fail but do substantially better than I ever could, and would do better if dropped into a court. I think that's evidence the score does track performance.

68% of California lawyers are white

If we're playing the race card, break that down between white and Jewish then post the same article with the same premise that the ethnicity of the current lawyers is a problem. I dare you.

And then in a few years they can anguish over the systemic racism leading to black lawyers being hired less often. Nothing to do with people knowing they will on average be less able.

Oh great! That's the kind of lawyer I'd want.

A criminal lawyer?

So now you have to select a lawyer by race if you want competent representation? I'm not sure if there's an ulterior motive, or if the clowns over in The People's Republic of California are really so short-sighted.

Soon, those Caribbean law schools are gonna have higher standards than the American ones
