Why would God be evil? All he wanted to do is to save His people from the corruption that comes with sin. If His creation disobeys him constantly he has every right to shut them down. It only takes one rotten apple to spoil the whole barrell. Stop crying about how unfair it is, we have been blessed with a free will so we can choose if we will obey or not. Everything bad that happens in this world is because of our own doing.
