Did you guys write the software yourselves or is it built using some existing platform (e.g. old reddit code, voat, postmill, telescope, etc)?

It's discourse with a ton of custom CSS so it doesn't look like discourse
discourse is really good with spam detection, which is kinda what braincels needs
