pretending we don't want women to protect our egos is accomplishing nothing. women already have way too many options, it makes zero impact to them if some loser males stop msging them or asking them out. and none of them are 'checking out' they still have to work and pay taxes to afford to live etc. there are more incels who are neet. not to mention so many of these mgtow are only mgtow AFTER they've had their money stolen etc. meaning they've actively contributed to the system that they despise and only reject it afterwards when it's too late and they've done their part.

In some parts of the world even prenuptials are being rendered null and void. The laws are getting worse year by year, and they can apply retroactively. Even men like Henry Cavill have made mgtow like comments, due to metoo. And Leonardo Di Caprio also appears to exhibit MGTOW behavior, dating young without commitment.

MGTOWs aren't all MGTOW monks who avoid all intimate relations with women, there are MGTOW that only avoid marriage and cohabitation(which can be retroactively made into marriage).

The wealthy high status men that are seeing even prenups fail, a good portion is avoiding marriage. With even casual relations potentially ending in jail or extortion based solely on a woman's words, many are also avoiding casual sex. A wealthy man can easily go to another country and hire young prostitutes or escorts for cheap, without fear of any legal repercussions.

Metoo has resulted in Doctors, Lawyers, Executives, etc being more careful and avoiding work relations that would otherwise have taken place.
