Is it incredibly depressing to everyone else that the only voicemails and texts you get on your phone are from telemarketers?

I fucking hate scrolling through those and deleting them, because it reminds me that I never get wordy, lengthy texts from someone who actually cares about me, and I never will.

They are the closest thing I have to someone checking in on me, and acknowledging my existence.
