Children are incredibly vulnerable. They need to be able to spot these subtle things. That smaller twin will pick up he is less loved. Less deserving. He will grow up more anxious. Where his brother gets Warm smiles and little consequences from his mother, the smaller one will receive harsher treatment, by simple fact she has less positive disposition towards him.
