Or in fights and feuds with other black men they know and are close to, and often are partners in crime with, and who typically have sex with men. They die at the hands of other black men who are also homosexual or bisexual.

Yes, there's lots of homophobia in the black community. Many black trans people are hugely homophobic themselves. But when black trans-identified males die of homicide in the US, the killers aren't straight black homophobes. The killers are other black males who engage in homosexual sex.
