The thing that bothers people is that media is not representative of real life.

If commercials, games, movies, and shows were representative of actual percentages, every show on TV would have a same race couple, no mullatos, and no gay grandfather's dating a young Mexican boy. Then you'd have less than one out of a hundred showing this behavior, and no one would really care.
