Because Storybook Brawl is free-to-play, users do not have to spend any money to leave a review, making it particularly susceptible to review bombing like this. However, most of the negative reviews come from Steam users whose Storybook Brawl playtime is in the double or triple digits.

The metrics for steam reviews values playtime + ownership time higher than other factors. If you change your steam review from positive to negative then it affects the rating more than if you buy a game and rate it.

good point. just either way it shows how the gaming community feels about the nets
