There is absolutely no way that the Soviet Union even contributed to the beginning of the war, it was the ridiculous League of Nations that allowed Germany whatever on earth they wanted and the Americans heavily funding the motor industry in 1933 which gave birth to their entire tank battalion. There is no way Germany would have won against the Russians even with all of this backing, But the allowance of Germany to invade the Sudetenland and build a massive fleet and tank army caused far more Russian deaths than there could have been.
