You seem to be enjoying good provision today.

It is reported that many thousands in Texas have no power. And tornadoes came down and caused destruction two days ago, especially in Perryton. Did you remain unaffected?

Those without power will have a challenge preserving their frozen meat and much food will surely be spoiled when unrefrigerated.

Those poor people! They're in the panhandle and I'm in Houston. Hardly a cloud in sight. Although the heat index is at 111 right now.

For Father's Day the local supermarket was doing $4.77/lb NY Strip. We've picked up 3 packs so far ourselves, my parents picked up a couple too. They sell out quick at those prices, normally they want $12/lb for it.

I'm glad you are OK where you are, although I have heard of past problems in Houston, like flooding. Those were good prices for steak.

YUM! Add a few eggs over easy and it's the perfect breakfast!

I could barely finish the whole steak, had to force myself since reheated steak is so much worse. I'm happy with sharing one with the wife but she prefers her own.

I was looking for asparagus but nobody had any.

Asparagus for breakfast? Eh... Whatever floats your boat, I say!

However, I would like to suggest that next time, you fry only half that steak, and have a few eggs on the side. Many people report feeling much better with this combo, they seem to be synergistic for whatever reason.
