Standard divide and conquer tactics.

Target the group you think is an underdog (women), support anything that gives them advantage on the expanse of the dominant group (man), watch people from each of the groups wasting time and effort focusing on the other while those they should really be focusing on are the corrupted establishment / media who are promoting the inequality in the first place.
