Jung thought that our individualization was a complex process that required us to study the psychological archetypes. While there's value in them, I think understanding our place in history and duties should have a large role in shaping who we become as adults so that's a reason behind a lot of the moral degeneracy nowadays.
People also naturally have expectations of others, but while it is important to be responsible with the people around us, sometimes, they may not have the most healthy expectations or be empathetic about the limitations of others, causing a lot of unfair discrimination. This is made worse by pop culture nowadays and how violent that discrimination can be.
In a more healthy environment, people should be unified under a single ideology. This is stopped from happening by the corruption of the media by the ruling groups.
