Interesting side note: there is actually a second Patrick Moore, who was the president of Greenpeace Canada and died. Where as this one was a co-founder and is still alive.

Nope.

Patrick Moore frequently portrays himself as a founder or co-founder of Greenpeace, and many news outlets have repeated this characterization. Although Mr. Moore played a significant role in Greenpeace Canada for several years, he did not found Greenpeace.

Do you have a source about him that doesn't lie?

Similar, but older and dead. He was an amateur astronomer.

That one doesn't appear to have been involved in Greenpeace at all. And spent less than two years living in Canada.

I think I have an explanation. I mangled a link earlier and ended up on both pages simultaneously, after a manual url edit.

Thus creating Schrödinger's Patrick Moore.(Depending on which tab I was checking back on.)
