on a side note, all Japanese pms since 2006 have been members of the Kaigi:

Shinzō Abe, Liberal Democratic Party (2006-2007, 2012-2020)[2] Tarō Asō, Liberal Democratic Party (2008-2009)[2] Yoshihide Suga, Liberal Democratic Party (2020-since)

This indicates the Kaigi has significant political sway in Japan.
