East Asia most certainly does not need post-modern (((feminism))) that Gloria Steinem and the CIA pioneered, and which Lus like Amy Tan subscribe to. this is different from matriarchal traditions in ancient Asia. Honestly, modern China is too feminist for its own good.

patriarchy is the only path to order, stability, and reason. interestingly, the Hemudu culture in ancient Zhejiang was said to be matriarchal, and is linked to Austronesians.
