Why do younger elderly women (aged 55-64) have no filter?

Is this implying that once they become 65 the filter returns?
I think that older people, boomers in general, came from a time where you didn't have to worry about being politically correct all the time. Whatever they're saying to you, even if it hurts your precious feelings, take note and listen to them.

And idk if you read but I actually find their lack of filter amusing most of the time, not offensive

Well generally it depends. It's amusing sometimes, but other times it's rather annoying, not offensive. There's a difference between if somebody is offended and somebody is annoyed. And it's not just one I've noticed it in several old ladies in this age group.
