Why do younger elderly women (aged 55-64) have no filter?

Is this implying that once they become 65 the filter returns?
I think that older people, boomers in general, came from a time where you didn't have to worry about being politically correct all the time. Whatever they're saying to you, even if it hurts your precious feelings, take note and listen to them.

They're not hurting my feelings at all just sometimes the lack of filter comes outta nowhere. And no, people 65+ have no filters either. I understand younger boomers and older gen x do come from a different time than me. It wasn't even 100 years ago and things were very different when they grew up in the 60's, 70's and 80's. Crazy to think about.
