They're banned in Texas now. We had red light cams for a while. I never had any problems but there were issues with a private company issuing legal fines, it denied due process, and you can't be sure who was actually driving the vehicle at the time of a violation.

Took 12 years to get rid of the damn things.

This is all part of Biden's plan to increase government spending "without raising taxes" along with the $600 transaction monitoring, and the obsession with crypto KYC laws to find unreported revenue. They're still essentially taxes and they're going to affect low to middle income Americans.

Also, I think Biden is dead wrong about all this money sitting there that's untapped.

We had a small town that tried that shit. After they mailed out thousands of tickets everybody stopped shopping there and the stores started going out of business. Then there was a major political power shift and they all came down but not before the local rednecks started shooting them off the poles.
