I’d say that’s being generous considering a small percentage of people actually enjoy reading and an even fewer enjoy comics. I seriously doubt that all of those that label themselves as a part of the alphabet soup crowd enjoy reading/comics when the stereotype suggest that most of them love musicals.

The American comic book industry is dead. Manga outsells it every month. Demon Slayer alone outsells the entirety of the American Comic book industry. You cant market your product to people who dont buy your product and expect to stay in business. Especially when your comics are written by people who hate your comics and the comic book audience.
