I think your assessment is spot on, however I do have to wonder, if there's not a group outside anti-fa and "the right" that could be doing this.

I've heard of non-Americans setting up facebook events for each group right next to each other, on purpose, to create fights. This almost seems like another case of that. Luckily one side seems to be figuring out this tactic, while the other continues to bathe in its own feces.
