I ran into a grey wolf during my morning walk with dog.
I was walking with dog in on the same road and in the same area where I saw the grizzly bear on Saturday. I was, let’s say, very aware of my surroundings, after Saturday’s incident.
I had seen some turds on the ground with what looked like squirrel hair in the turds. But the turd diameter was too big for a coyote. It must be a wolf I thought.
Five minutes later, a wolf comes out of the woods and onto the road about 200 feet in front of us.
The wolf, dog, and I all stopped in our tracks and sized-up each other. I once again reached for the bear spray putting my hand on the canister in the holster. Wolf was the size of a grown German shepherd.
After a few seconds, the wolf bolted into the woods.
Thank you, Lord.
