And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

My heavenly Father rewarded my prayer inside my home, and I thank him publicly, and exalt him here before a mixed multitude of believers and unbelievers, hoping to inspire everyone to believe and to trust God and to pray without ceasing.

Hebrews 13:15-16 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

How many people pray for favors and then after they are granted forget to thank God or to praise him?

When Jesus came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. Then Jesus said to him, “See that you don’t tell anyone."

Do you know why Jesus said that? Was it not so that crowds of people would not impede his progress toward Jerusalem? In another healing, he told the man to go away from his physical presence, and tell everyone back home, where they would not crowd around Jesus and obstruct his path....

Mark 5:19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

And because God is spirit, we can pray from any location for help. We do not need to be physically present in front of any man to pray. People did not need to physically touch Jesus, but have faith in Jesus, and they would be healed. This remains true today. Pray with faith, and God will help you.

It's the 11th hour before the economic collapse of the west.

You may want to invest in an alternate appliance.

Counter top replacement, or similar.

My stove continues to work, but I appreciate your advice and it is good to prepare for alternate ways of cooking, even without electricty. I have experience cooking with fire using free wood from my property as fuel.

Yesterday the nation of Nigeria experienced a deliberate power blackout, they said because of an employee strike. It might already be midnight.

You should see if you can get a replacement control board. Sometimes you can fix it, although a lot of times the parts are no longer available.

It's been fixed ever since I prayed, so it turns out God is a fully capable repair man.
