the van allen belt isnt that deadly, we have lead that stops the charged electrons

The Van Allen belts are full of cosmic rays. Cosmic rays can potentially exceed the particle energy of any particle produced on Earth.
the energies of the most energetic ultra-high-energy cosmic rays (UHECRs) have been observed to approach 3 × 1020 eV,[11] about 40 million times the energy of particles accelerated by the Large Hadron Collider.[12]

Also, anyone who makes it past the Van Allen Belts will continue to be bombarded by solar wind and cosmic rays.
There are a number of obvious conclusions that can be drawn based on these facts of physics.

lead shielding exists, it stops the charged electrons, and 40 millions times the energy isnt that much when you are talking about near weightless particles

X-ray radiation is massless and it easily goes through thin lead vests, etc. It's not even a particle.
Doctors give you an x-ray vest, and they GTFO of the room. Cause the vest is doing very little.
Cosmic rays are many, many, many orders of magnitude more energetic than x-rays.
40,000,000 is +7 orders of magnitude more powerful than the most powerful device on Earth.
There's many more orders of magnitude between the LHC and a doctor's x-ray camera.
The lead won't help.

let me guess, moon landing denier?
The Apollo missions marked the first event where humans traveled through the Van Allen belts, which was one of several radiation hazards known by mission planners. The astronauts had low exposure in the Van Allen belts due to the short period of time spent flying through them. Apollo flight trajectories bypassed the inner belts completely, passing through the thinner areas of the outer belts
