I hate the American government and media too. They’ve done a lot of horrible things. And this whole Ukraine war was an opportunity for America to weaken Germany so that Germany would be more submissive to America.

But why should I have any sympathy for Germany? Germany could have continued to buy gas from Russia and opened up Nordstream 2. Germany could have told America to fuck off and stay neutral. But no. Your government and your media decided to do America's budding. And this was after your country spent 14 years bullying Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy and my country (Ireland) when we were going through some hard times. Yes, our governments obeyed Germany, like how yours is obeying America. But if America should be punished for what is happening in Germany right now, then maybe Germany should be punished for what has been done to Ireland and to Southern Europe.

Frankly, Germany would not be in this mess if you kept nuclear power plants open. Or if you had left NATO after your country was reunified in 1990. Not to mention the fact that a lot of bad things have come out of Germany, such as Klaus Schwab, the Frankfurt School of Thought, Antifa, the public school system that America has adopted, the eurozone, among many other retarded shit.

But while I’m shitting on Germany, I will take a step back and acknowledge that my own country is shit. Ireland is supposed to be a neutral country, yet we allowed one of our airports to act as a stopover for American troops on their way to bombing Middle Eastern countries. And our government and media has the audacity to be mad at Russia? Not to mention how Irish people blindly accept American imperialism. Germans are obedient, almost robot like, which leaves me to believe that many Germans are willingly accepting their country's faith. But then again, Irish people for the most part have weak critical thinking skills, we abdicate responsibility, and we’d rather whinge about bad things that have happened to us instead of growing a collective spine and doing things about the oppression we are going through right now. Fuck it, most Irish people still think that Biden is good. That’s how sheltered we are. We think that the UK Conservative Party and the US Republican Party are right wing, because of how leftist we are. So please don’t be too sympathetic towards my people. If I was fluent in Hungarian, I would move to Hungary.

But Germans do have every right to be mad at America for what America has done to Germany after WWII.

Amazing comment. You really know your stuff. Not the typical defensive Irishman with a chip on his shoulder at all.

I love my country and my ethnicity. But there is nothing wrong with criticising your own people and your own country. A lot of Irish people are insecure because we want to believe that everything is getting better since we did away with the British and with Catholicism when it's clearly not the case. A lot of things have gotten better but a lot of things have gotten worse as well. We have convinced ourselves that replacing British imperialism with American and EU imperialism has benefitted our country - telling us that Washington and Brussels are just as bad as London makes a lot of Irish people uncomfortable. As you know, Irish people have a habit of shoving uncomfortable truths under the rug, because acknowledging them forces us to do things we are not used to doing. We are also terrible at admitting we've made mistakes.

That's why Irish people get butthurt when you point out to them that they're doing something stupid.
