I believe research actually shows your favourite thing, female education, is the only constant factor in lowering birth rates across the world.

I'd also say birth rates and the breakdown of the family are two very separate things. I've not known broken families to have less kids in them, quite the opposite.

These do not correlate when one considers that people in the poorest and developing coutnries and families produced the most babies, not because of the lack of education, but in order for survival.
