Replace it with a mountain of stolen bikes?
let Target fall far for their stupidity
Had I been around when they built it, I would have probably agreed. Taking some mountain in indian territory and carving the faces of presidents on it is a pretty balsy conqueror move. Seems needlessly stupid. Just build a damn giant statue in Washington instead, and not in the ass end of nowhere where nobody will go to see it.
That said once it's been built, it's there, it's history, like it or not, you leave it there. It's not like the indians can complain anymore since they are building their own nearby now.
What I think is cool about it is in 10,000 years the successors to human civilization will find it and wonder what the fuck empire was headquartered in that frozen wasteland.
I mean, indians have done the same thing:

It kinda is. For example, indigenous tribes often wiped out their rivals or other, smaller tribes who were not strong enough to defend themselves. They then took their land and enslaved their women and children. They also would torture any captives to death to appease their gods. All we did when we won was carve some faces on a mountain.
