All the while most actual monarchies are constitutional monarchies.
Comparing that to the two party state of american corporate lobbyism, I'm pretty comfy here in my nationalised, constitutionally monarchic/socially democratic Norway.
We have royalty that had no say in the government's demand that our national resources should benefiall the citizens in a rather nationalistic manner and now we have the greatest welfare fund in the world.
