I liked this wiki article. I learned that the "pied" in pied piper means "multicolored" and is referring to the clothing the piper wore.

And I had no idea this story potentially has a real basis in reality, in a town that has a street and church mural after the event. Pretty wild!

They sold their kids to a recruiter, probably in the times of famine. He took them off to Transylvania. I remember reading about this some time ago

Didnt the piper kill all the children? I remember stuff you should know(i think) talking about a cave in england with childrens bones in it from around the time and area of the piper.
